Modular Versatility with hot-swappable adapters.

Modular Versatility with hot-swappable adapters.
The TestPro is a future-proof investment thanks to its hot-swappable adapters. You can switch from copper testing to fiber testing or Multi-Gigabit Ethernet testing in seconds using the same handheld unit.
- Unified Test Engine: A single main unit supports Copper, Fiber, PoE, and Multi-Gigabit testing
- Hot-Swappable Adapters: Switch between test types in seconds without needing to reboot or recalibrate the main chassis
- Incremental Upgrades: Start with a basic copper kit and buy individual fiber or PoE adapters only when your projects require them
- Future-Proof Hardware: New technologies (like Single Pair Ethernet) are supported via new adapters, keeping your main investment relevant for years
- Standardized User Interface: One learning curve—once your team knows how to use the CV100, they can operate every adapter type effortlessly
- Field-Replaceable Modules: If a connector wears out, you only replace the specific adapter, not the entire expensive testing unit.
Test Data Management and Cloud Platform.
Our multifunction tester is more than just a handheld tool; it is backed by a robust software ecosystem that allows you to manage, categorize, and archive your test results with professional precision. This platform ensures that your data is organized, accessible, and ready for client handover at a moment's notice.
- Cloud Sync: Instant upload of test results from the handheld unit to a secure cloud account.
- Collaborative Access: Allow multiple stakeholders to view project progress and data
- Custom Labeling: Pre-configure cable labeling schemes in the software and push them to the tester to ensure on-site consistency.
- In-Depth Analysis: View detailed "Return Loss" and "Crosstalk" plots on a large screen for advanced troubleshooting.
- Because AEM’s 6-second autotest captures all parameters by default—including DC Resistance Unbalance, TCL, and ELTCTL, TestDataPro enables instant software-based recertification without field retesting. For example Cat/Cat6 test can be recertified to Cat6A, or Cat6A recertification to ISO/IEC Class EA
Key Features and Highlights

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does the system include two full-screen testers?
Yes. Unlike traditional testers that have a “dumb” remote with only basic LED indicators, the AEM TestPro features two identical, full-color touchscreen units (Main and Remote).
This allows technicians at either end of the cable to start a test, view detailed graphical results, and save data, significantly increasing on-site efficiency.
2. Can I connect multiple remote devices to one main unit?
Yes. The system is designed for high-volume environments. You can pair one Main unit with multiple Remote units.
This is particularly useful for testing different zones of a building simultaneously or switching between different media types (e.g., copper and fiber) without having to re-pair devices constantly.
3. Do copper and fiber testing require different kits, or is the tester compatible with any adapter?
The TestPro is a modular platform. You do not need different base units for copper and fiber. Both units feature hot-swappable adapter slots. You can simply swap out a Cat6A copper adapter for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 fiber optic adapter. One pair of testers is compatible with the entire range of AEM test adapters, making it a truly multifunction investment.
4. How fast is the "6-Second Autotest" and what does it include?
The 6-second autotest is the fastest in the industry for Cat6A certification. Within those six seconds, the device performs a full suite of tests, including Wiremap, Length, Delay, DC Resistance Unbalance, and all crosstalk (NEXT) and Return Loss measurements.
5. Can this tester certify cables longer than the standard 100 meters?
Yes. While standard Ethernet is limited to 100m, the TestPro can test and certify cables as long as 1,000 meters (1km). It uses specialized “Long Cable” settings and custom test limits, measuring RF performance down to 100 kHz to ensure accuracy over extreme distances.
6. Does it support Power over Ethernet (PoE) load testing?
Absolutely. The TestPro CV100 is unique because it doesn’t just check if PoE is present; it performs a 90W Load Test (802.3bt). It validates that the cabling can actually deliver the required power without signal degradation, which is essential for modern PTZ cameras and Wi-Fi 6 access points.
7. How do I manage and share the test results?
Results can be synced via Wi-Fi to the TestPro Cloud or exported via USB. The integrated software allows you to categorize results by project, floor, or client. You can then generate professional, customized PDF “birth certificates” for your infrastructure to provide to your customers.
8. Is the tester future-proof for higher speeds?
Yes. The platform supports testing up to 3000 MHz, which covers current Cat6A standards and extends all the way to Cat8.1 and Cat8.2, as well as Multi-Gigabit Ethernet (2.5G, 5G, 10G) and Single Pair Ethernet (SPE).
